This
state was blessed a massive chunk of the Rocky Mountains that rivals
the Bernese Swiss Alps. Less then two hours from Denver, a heaven-reaching
garden of wonderful giants awaits. And only 40 minutes from the
city, the Flat Iron Mountains play tribute to the pristine dollhouse
town of Boulder. The state has more 14-thousand footers than any
other, all good for technical climbing and hiking – or just
viewing and photographing. Go to Colorado to experience
some of best highs east of the Himalayas.
