Bob is a Denver-based freelance travel writer specializing in Mexican and Caribbean destinations. His stories have appeared in publications ranging from the New York Times syndicated Mature Traveler column to Frontier Airlines' inflight magazine. He is a frequent contributor to La Oferta, a weekly newspaper with over 100,000 readers around Silicon Valley and San Jose, Calif. In an earlier life, as Bob puts it, he was one of the four principal founders of Frontier Airlines and served as the carrier's vice president for corporate communications until he retired a few years ago. A self-described "airline bum, " he earlier held senior communications posts with Reno Air, the original Frontier Airlines, Eastern Airlines and Mohawk Airlines. Bob is a Member of the Mexico Writers Alliance and an associate member of the Society of American Travel Writers.
